Not super relate, but reminds me that Chrome on Android is getting serial over Bluetooth support. https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/blink-dev/c/BqUGC...
Plenty of haters but I love loveove that there's all sorts of neat maker and iot devices, and that the software to interface with them can just be a simple web page that can run anywhere.
