"Show HN" is for something people can try, give feedback, and discuss with the creator. It is not for just sharing content.

OP here. It's not about the content: it's weird art.
They are not saying that the post does not belong on the site, just that it shouldn't be a "show HN". It has a similar vibe to a lot of static content that is linked here.
