I became an engineer because I love the work. I tend to use AI as a peer programmer / sounding board. There are boring bits - boilerplate that I will get A.I to to, but I prefer to do the fun / interesting things myself

AI genuinely helped with many things during development, but I realised that the parts I enjoy most — architecture, problem solving, and building systems — are exactly the parts I don’t want to delegate.

Same here. I just want to write code myself. AI is great for routine tasks, but the rest is mine.
