Is there a metric to measure ‘bytes required to display the result of a single multiplication’ ?
yes, sum of bytes of both operands

Plus Googe is not the only search engine where you type in "in to mm" and this one "conversation" is then at the top ;)
And you don't even have to click on a link to use it.
