I'm a lawyer and I have always been frustrated with document tools for Bates stamping and document assembly. I decided to take a stab at coding my own tools that allow a user to easily stamp a document or compile a filing while maintaining confidentiality, for free. So I built https://BatesStamp.com as a static site on Cloudflare. There is no backend, no account, no upload endpoint, and no file ever hits a server. The pages load pdf.js, pdf-lib, and JSZip from public CDNs, so there are third-party requests, just not ones carrying your documents.
I was so impressed with the how well Bates stamping and document assembly worked that I added a few other functions too (redaction, pleading paper, metadata stripping). Happy to hear any input at all.
