The problem with this effort is that they are drawing the wrong conclusion.
Yes, Bauhaus had heavy influence on the last 100 years of architecture and other areas, especially in the corporate spaces. So it was a valid proof that an intentional design aesthetic can be created and "succeed". Yet that only proves that the process can work. It is not proof that it was a good idea in the first place. Because today, most people see that Bauhaus-influenced parts of our world and do not want.
Why would any deliberate aesthetic today not suffer the same fate, of "succeeding" to the point of being cliched and disliked. Why not instead just have a call out to tell people, "OK, Bauhaus is over. Lets move on".
Don't force feed people a replacement that will be equally outdated in the future.
