I was tired of all the agent coordination and comm tools out there requiring me to get off my existing harnesses like claude code or codex to get unto theirs, feels like everything is trying to acquire me as a 'monthly active user'. I just wanted to have something that supports the models' native and likely (hopefully) optimized harnesses and just be able to stay aware of what's going on, message each other, and share files across my infrastructure, without subscribing or onboarding to some bs service.
