From the first page I couldn't get myself past:

I know Anthropic is using a new TUI layer. Simple guess: it's buggy and therefore it is a rendering bug, or rather, a bug in the rendering layer. I've been writing my own PTY terminal app recently and I learned - others here may already know :) - a terminal often wraps lines itself. Ie not all visual line breaks need to have real line breaks. Reflow is and should be possible, and rotating should be no different to handling setting the terminal size.
I am writing with the absolute authority of someone who actually doesn't really know an area ;) I know enough to be dangerous including possibly dangerously wrong. But I am fairly confident that both things above (text wrapping and reflow, and terminal resize) are true.
I am not a fan of Claude's TUI, either old or new, and think text-mode UIs should be designed differently to theirs.
