Liberal Western civilization is a tradition built around individual liberty, equal rights under law, representative government, pluralism, free inquiry, and limits on the exercise of power.
It is superior and more advanced on the whole. Don't think of civilization as a snapshot in time of a culture, but rather as a process and its outcomes. It does not mean that there aren't specific superior ideas to be found in other traditions, but calling this "algorithmic colonially" is shallow thinking.
