I think it a false dichotomy, what's good for it is also good for us, what's good for us is also good for them. Give your devs/agents good tools and get out of the way. One thing that has been nice is that companies are finally putting effort into their docs, re: ai hype cycle, however some of them are using too much ai in producing said documents and it is full of errors (looking at you Atlassian)
For my projects? No, I don't see the benefit of doing that. Of course, others probably think differently.
