I've been fascinated by O'Neill cylinders my whole life. I directed the build w/ Claude Code, and the modeling mostly Claude driving Blender through MCP. Lots and lots of prompts, tweaks, performance tuning. It's been a absolute pleasure.
Are you doing angular sector culling here, or does the concave geometry keep frustum culling largely ineffective?
yes, the geometry weakens the plain frustum culling. Looking up, the opposite valleys are "in frustum" so the main strategy is distance tiering.
