I have a Lenovo Legion with an Nvidia Chip and I've been using Bazzite for almost a year, maybe more now, I kind of loss track. I still use it for work sometimes, although I generally mainline Kubuntu on an XPS and I also, cannot complain.
For years my main pain point was not being able to run Affinity Designer, which I kind of like to dwell on sometimes, that's a solved problem now... So, for me, there is nothing missing on something like Bazzite, and the best part is that everything there out of the box, I have no struggled at all...
I think some people have different experiences especially with latest AAA games, so maybe thats something to look out for... For me, I've had no issues with my GOG, Steam, Rockstar, Blizzard, and Epic games...
Just to be clear, my confusion was mainly on the development side of things, I had no real experience using atomic distros before, and it was a bit fiddly at the beginning, just to get things running and establish a proper separation of development enviornments. Like I said, this was never meant to be my dev machine, but sometimes I don't feel like jumping on another laptop, so it was important for me to be able to still work with it, not that things are working for me I have no issue dealing with things.
On the game side of things, the gaming side, it's just as easy as it gets I reckon... I mean, I don't have any issues installing stuff, it's just like macOS or Windows...
I work on a Macbook Pro on my 9-5, and I also have a laptop with Windows 11 that I use a few times a year to provide support to a Windows native desktop app, and I can promise you or anybody, I love working with Linux, wether it's on Bazzite or Kubuntu, or server environments. Right now, at this point in time, it's by far the best operating system out there.

I looked into Bazzite but was confused by the package management. I'll look again.
Yes, it can be confusing.
