Trump said sanctions are gone and the USA will be getting oil from Russia, 6 million barrels, or 1.5 days of USA's daily demand.
Is there a polymarket pool where I can bet the diesel never arrives, because the artist of the deal will reveal himself and his administration to be rubes?
> Trump wrote on social media that Putin agreed in a call to “immediately supply” more than 300,000 tons of diesel to global energy markets, with another 500,000 tons promised in November. Together, the amounts — equal to 6 million barrels of diesel fuel — would cover about a day and a half worth of US demand, according to the US Energy Information Administration.
If the FP-9 arrives on time and enters serial production, Ukraine will have a ballistic missile which can meaningfully tap Moscow's power plants. It could be a long winter for Moscow.
Yes, they need to get rid of their authoritarian government, Fighting a war that no one asked for. Kind of like Trump fighting a war that no one asked for except for perhaps the moneyed interests.
The Russians have had authorotanian governments since Ivan the Terrible, who in the sixteenth century established the foundations of the modern Russian state¹. So nobody there would get rid of it. It's the normal state of things.
I don't buy it. Every single European country was ruled by non-democratic imperials assholes for a thousand years, until we each lost our last war and became normal modern countries.
There is no reason for me to think that Russia will not be the same. Ukraine could be Russia's last imperialist war. That would certainly be a good thing for the Russian people.
a month ago i was on vacation in southern Turkey. those resorts are full of russian tourists. at one point there was someone flying a drone over the beach. a russian kid started yelling, scared.
this war will leave a whole generation with PTSD whenever they hear those high pitched propeller sounds...
The main victims of this attack seem to be not the Russians, but the UK and the EU. If winter hits hard, is the UK still ok after this strike? How's the state of their national reserves?
The UK and EU would like to thank you for your concern. After the recent admission that Russia interfered with the brexit voting I suspect they would be happy to let Russia reap its reward.
Does this impact the United States diesel deal with Russia?
It's not even the biggest hit on Russian crude oil storage capacity recently, not the last too.

The orange deal maker only announced this for the midterms because MAGA wants him to be tough on Ukraine.
He does not care at all if anything arrives or not.
After the midterms "he'll demand" (he'll be told to demand!) more sanctions on Russia,
Well, the Indian Refinery Billionaires are licking their chops now.

Pretty much no where in Russia is safe now
And it can get a lot worse for the invaders yet.

Wild. Ok. Tx.
Russia has been screwed up for 800 years, and will be screwed up for another 800 years.
