Implant is a VS Code extension that allows GitHub Copilot to create and execute small scripts accessing all VS Code APIs - a universal tool for complex code analysis and bespoke refactorings.
What's new in 0.4.0:
- Code parsing, structural search and AST transforms using ast-grep
- Diagrams
- Better integration with the chat and simplified approval workflow
- Better VS Code API discovery
- No need to call it explicitly - Copilot will pick it up when necessary. Use `@implant` when you want to be sure that it will be used
